When Facebook announced their social platform will be focussing on bringing people closer together in 2018, we at LADbible Group welcomed the news.
As Mark Zuckerberg explained, personal moments lead the audience to ‘connect more with each other’. We have always shared this belief, creating content that is inherently social, relatable and engaging to our audience.
Our best editorial, branded and social responsibility content is based on positivity, enabling our followers to laugh, to cry, to feel empowered and talk about the issues that matter to them. This in turn results in a ‘meaningful connection’ between friends and family on Facebook in the form of positive comments, shares and likes.
In an interview with BBC’s Newsnight our Head of Communications, Peter Heneghan explains why these changes are good news for the audience and for publishers like LADbible Group that truly understand social media and put the social experience at the heart of their content.
He also discusses the positive role Facebook played in enabling LADbible to reach the widest possible audience with our award winning mental health campaign UOKM8?
