We’re incredibly pleased to be a media partner at this year’s Prince’s Trust Awards which takes place today.
The Breakthrough Award, in association with LADbible, recognises the progress of young people in overcoming barriers and developing new skills.
LADbible strongly believes in championing everyday heroes and sharing social positivity across our channels so we couldn’t be prouder to partner with such an inspiring charity.
This award allows us to further celebrate the story of a remarkable young person who has overcome major challenges in their life and now gives back to society by supporting people who are more needy.
LADbible will be live from the red carpet sharing all the action as it happens on our Instagram Stories.
The Prince’s Trust is a charity that was founded in 1976 by Prince Charles with the aim of helping vulnerable young people to turn their lives around.
The trust deals mainly with young people between the ages of 11 and 30 who are unemployed or have had issues at school.
They also offer support to vulnerable young people who are in or leaving care, at risk of homelessness, or in trouble with the law to give them the opportunity to improve their situation.
This includes offering practical support such as training programmes, as well as financial support for things such as travel to and from job interviews that might otherwise stand in the way of their development.
One of the young people to benefit from the opportunities offered by the trust is Jack Lucas, a 19 year old from Chorley.
We’d like to congratulate Jack as the winner of the Breakthrough award after winning the Manchester regional gong in November.
