With McDonald’s & UberEATS launching their brand-new McDelivery service in the UK, we set out to raise awareness, through a content format we know our audience love.
Playfully dramatising the convenience and speed of ordering a McDonald’s meal via the UberEATS mobile app – we produced a GoPro shot social video that captured an intense split-screen race through the heart of London to get our hands on a Big Mac.
We activated our post with a geo-block to 15 UK cities where the delivery service is currently available, to focus only on consumers in the catchment area.
We synced closely with the McDonald’s UK social media team, organising a smooth and immediate cross-post on their Facebook page – as well as on our own FOODbible channel.
In less than 24 hours, our McDelivery film passed the one million views mark. Within 48 hours, it reached 3.3 million people.
