“Our audience care passionately about the environment but demand content be relatable”
Our Trash Isles campaign launched with backing from actor and documentary maker Ross Kemp. Later, we announced former Vice President Al Gore as our first honoury citizen. But we’ve met the UN’s official country criteria, and are increasing our population and infrastructure daily in order to achieve global awareness.
As Creative Review reports on our vision: “We built the Trash Isles campaign around strong visual elements that gave it a feel of a real country.” We’ve designed our own currency, passports, national football team, and more. We’re creating a passionate worldwide community to tackle the negative environmental effects of plastic pollution.
