NHS HEROES

BACKGROUND

The country may no longer be banging pots on doorsteps, but we’re continuing to share the love for the NHS through our latest media partnership. They came to LADbible Group for help in driving recruitment nationally for nurses, midwives, allied health professionals and paramedics. Although people around the country love the NHS, a lot of people sometimes won’t think it’s a career for them.

WHAT WE DID

To encourage our audiences to consider a career in the NHS, we created a heart-warming series over four episodes reunited NHS heroes with people whose lives they saved. We put out NHS superstars at the heart of the stories, and made their roles feel aspirational, but also attainable. We amplified the content across LADbible, UNILAD and Tyla social channels throughout August.

RESULTS

The content reached over 18 million people and drove over 2,000 people to the NHS careers page. Beyond this, we amplified the nation’s love for NHS staff via the thousands of positive messages within our comment threads on Facebook and Instagram. One message in particular that we received from a mother whose son featured in episode 1 really highlights the impact this series had:

‘This is a super proud moment in time for me as Harry’s mum. I can’t put it into words how wonderful it is to watch you and Carl reunite in this way. I know first hand the importance of our NHS and our Air Ambulance services. I’d like to thank all involved, the Paramedics, Surgeons, Doctors, Critical Care Nurses, Nurses, I know there are many more individuals.
